What it does

  1. 01Builds each wardrobe from shelf photos. Claude Code agents list every piece in a photo, and merge anything photographed twice.
  2. 02Knows what's at each home. Anything the agents weren't sure about waits for you under Review.
  3. 03Plans a trip from the gaps: what you'll need, minus what's already at the other home.
  4. 04Packing and unpacking a trip moves the items. You never edit where something is by hand.
  5. 05Keeps every move as history, so you can see when a thing went where.

Run it

A local app: it runs on your Mac, and your phone opens it over the same Wi-Fi. The database and photos stay in its data folder, out of git. The code is private for now.

Start
npm install
npm run dev # http://localhost:3000

Photograph each shelf, rail and drawer. Put the photos in intake/bangalore/, or use Add in the app from your phone. Then, in Claude Code:

Claude Code
catalog my Bangalore photos

The same closet from the command line. Everything prints JSON.

Command line
./bin/closet status
./bin/closet items --location hometown
./bin/closet item <id>
./bin/closet export
./bin/closet help

Ideas

  • Pack for a trip from its weather forecast.
  • An outfit of the day from what you've worn least.
  • Lend a jacket to a friend and track it home.

Want one of these, or something wilder? Let's make it.
